In a long and hot train ride from Berlin to Prague I meet Matthew. Yes, he wants to draw. His girlfriend hesitates. But he’ll do it, no problem. He draws a great card with his moments from Amsterdam. He was at a Monster Inc. exhibition and at the Bulldog. After quite some time he asks whether he could have another one. I give him two. He makes a drawing on the map of Berlin and accentuates his one moments on that. Than he continues with the thunderstorm in Berlin. Since he likes the drawing so much, he gets even more cards. This time he draws the train ride. It’s great to see how his drawings develop from the bigger and more general moments to the specific ones. After two hours of drawing I receive the last drawing; what he sees in front of him at this moment; his sleeping girlfriend.
